RCC (The Retail Council Of Canada)
The Retail Council of Canada formed in 1963 and serves as a not-for-profit association that represents 43,000 store fronts all across Canada. RCC advocates for Canadian retail with a mandate to support employment growth and career opportunities in retail, to promote and sustain retail investments in communities from coast-to-coast, and to enhance consumer choice and industry competitiveness. www.retailcouncil.org

RECA (The Real Estate Council of Alberta)
"RECA" was established in 1995, to regulate real estate professionals under the Real Estate Act of Alberta. Their mandate is to protect consumers and to provide services that enhance and improve the industry and the business of industry members. www.reca.ca

RECBC (The Real Estate Council of British Columbia)
The Real Estate Council of British Columbia is a regulatory agency established by the provincial government in 1958. Its mandate is to protect the public interest by enforcing the licensing and licensee conduct requirements of the Real Estate Services Act. The Council is responsible for licensing individuals and brokerages engaged in real estate sales, rental and strata property management. The Council also enforces entry qualifications, investigates complaints against licensees and imposes disciplinary sanctions under the Act. www.recbc.ca

RECO

RECO (The Real Estate Council of Ontario)
"RECO" was formed in 1997 to administer the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act on behalf of the Ontario government. All registered real estate brokers and salespersons are governed by this Act. RECO's mandate is to protect consumers through a fair, safe and informed marketplace.

In addition to administering the Act, RECO has its own By-laws, which allow it to provide more effective governance of the real estate profession. www.reco.on.ca

ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centres)
Founded in 1957, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is the global trade association of the shopping center industry. Its 61,000 members in the U.S., Canada and more than 80 other countries include shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors, lenders, retailers and other professionals as well as academics and public officials.

As the global industry trade association, ICSC links with more than 25 national and regional shopping center councils throughout the world.
